Ok so it's been a while, but I'm finally back, I have just urchased a tablet from Bamboo and my artwork is on the move. The reson for the talet is that in my new flat (read "room")I have little space for sketching, the bamboo takes up little space and allows me to save directly to the laptop without scanning. i will be uploading some experimental pics soon for comments.
Ay ay ay. STILL no new stuff. What am I doing. It has now been 7 months since I've put anything on here, why you ask (or possibly you don't and if you had asked this question I would answer: aaaaaarrrrrrrgggghhhhhhh!).
Major style change, I can not always draw manga so I am shifting into more realistic characters, and also cartoon characters. My painting is on hold because I am not happy with my painting style and I could ruin it by painting the skin bright pink. So for the moment I am back to drawing thousands of sketches on any scrap of paper I can find, so, until I have something to show, goodbye.
Thanks 4 the support, at the moment I am changing from stencils to paint and ink so I've not put anything new on here. I am also practising building up character profiles (ie one character in different views and poses). At the moment I am working on a large piece that I have been working on since June (although it is sorta forgotten at the mo).
lol no prob.. i haven't touched my pencil and paper in ages so i haven't had much input either XD (aside from my only post). maybe when i'm less busy i'll give it another shot
what made you choose paint and ink? i've seen someone on here that does great paintings, mostly dragons and some illustrations for books and the D&D game. She's really good. Maybe she can give u some tips?
her DA name is Ironshod, her stuff is in some of my favourites.

i read ur input on the forum(Why I don't draw Anime, and starting artists shouldnt either)...and i am kinda in the same boat...
i have prob been "trying" to draw manga for almost 1 1/2 years...usally on and off because of uni and (i'm pretty lazy
anyhoo.. i think that ur drawings are pretty good for a first year. keep it up and hopefully we'll get much better XD
